{"id":81,"date":"2011-05-25T16:55:38","date_gmt":"2011-05-25T16:55:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.sussex.ac.uk\/arlt\/?p=81"},"modified":"2011-09-20T16:37:55","modified_gmt":"2011-09-20T16:37:55","slug":"adding-items-to-a-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.sussex.ac.uk\/arlt\/2011\/05\/25\/adding-items-to-a-list\/","title":{"rendered":"Making changes to a list"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If an Aspire reading list already exists for your course, you may decide to edit the list for the new academic year, rather than creating a new list.\u00a0 Any changes you make to the list will remain in <strong><em>draft view<\/em><\/strong> until you decide to<em><strong> <\/strong><\/em>publish them.\u00a0 <strong>See\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/cTyTn6NU4XA\">Making changes to a list<\/a><\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0 for a short YouTube video showing how to edit an Aspire reading list.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sign into Aspire and click on <strong>My Lists<\/strong>.\u00a0 Reading lists that you have permission to edit will appear under <strong>My Lists<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on the list you want to edit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on\u00a0 <strong>&#8216;Edit&#8217;<\/strong> to make changes to the current list and again on <strong>&#8216;Edit<\/strong>&#8216; (next to the course title)\u00a0 to edit the course details or select the new term period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> OR<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on &#8216;<strong>Copy&#8217;<\/strong> if you want to make changes for the new academic session, but also keep an archive copy of the current list.\u00a0 Remove &#8216;Copy of&#8217; <strong>Publish&#8217;<\/strong> if you are ready to make changes live.<\/p>\n<p>When you have finished making the changes to your list, remember to  click on <strong>&#8216;Request review<\/strong>&#8216;
