They were recording a BBC programme about diary writing &#8211; Victoria Wood was interviewed as she had adapted the book ,Nella Last&#8217;s War, (based on a Mass Observers diary) for her (&#8220;BAFTA award winning&#8221;) television programme &#8211; Housewive 49.<\/p>\n<p>I dragged Simon Topping upstairs (and away from his teabreak) to take some lovely pictures for us &#8211; many thanks Simon.
