Chris Stark, Chief Executive of\u00a0the UK Climate Change Committee (CCC)<\/a>, will deliver the\u00a02022 Sussex Energy Group Keynote Lecture<\/a>\u00a0on November 30, 5:30-6:45pm GMT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sussex Energy Group Keynote Lecture<\/a> is an annual event hosted by one of the largest independent social science energy policy research groups in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris Stark<\/a> is the Chief Executive of the UK Climate Change Committee (CCC), the independent authority on tackling climate change under the UK\u2019s Climate Change Act. Chris leads a team of analysts and specialists, offering expert insight into the challenges of reducing UK emissions and adapting to the changing climate.\u202f\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris led the CCC\u2019s work to recommend a \u2018Net Zero\u2019 target for the UK \u2013 and has since directed detailed analysis and advice on the UK\u2019s path to carbon neutrality. He speaks regularly on the transition to a zero-carbon economy and the need to confront climate change with urgency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
