The Car – SR20<\/h1>\n

Who’s building it?<\/h3>\n

This year, Mobil 1 Sussex Racing have 18 strong \u00a0Class 1 team members from a diverse background including students from Mechanical and Automotive Engineering.<\/p>\n

Evolution Over revolution<\/h3>\n

The aim is to win.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In order to achieve this, SR20 is focusing on making a car that simply works and is built on time. Doing so will allow the driver to be able to test and get a feel for the car.<\/p>\n

We will be using the KTM 525 single-cylinder engine, which has a higher power to weight ratio. Our aero package, yet to be fully determined, will primarily consist of a rear diffuser and two side pods to push air through the cooling radiator and above the tyres for extra downforce, however our aim is to have wings front and rear.<\/p>\n
