On Friday 2 May, colleagues from across the university will come together to share their experiences, research and reflections on teaching and learning here at Sussex.\u00a0Further <a href=\"https:\/\/staff.sussex.ac.uk\/news\/article\/67175-sussex-education-festival-2025-call-for-participation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">information<\/a>, and a Call to Participation is now live on the Staff Hub.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>New and updated Educational Enhancement Advice and Guidance web pages<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A new <a href=\"https:\/\/staff.sussex.ac.uk\/teaching\/enhancement\/support\/assessment-design\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Assessment Equivalencies<\/a> page provides guidelines for determining student assessment workloads and equivalences.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our <a href=\"https:\/\/staff.sussex.ac.uk\/teaching\/enhancement\/support\/curriculum\/curriculum-design\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Curriculum design step by step<\/a> page has improved guidance on writing or reviewing course and module learning outcomes. It\u2019s really interesting!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Events and workshops organised by Educational Enhancement<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Learning Technologist workshops <\/strong>&#8211; now available <a href=\"https:\/\/staff.sussex.ac.uk\/news\/article\/66698-workshops-to-support-staff-using-technology-in-teaching-and-learning\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Workshops to support staff using technology in teaching and learning : Staff Hub : University of Sussex<\/a> free staff development.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com\/assets.creode.advancehe-document-manager\/documents\/advance-he\/Enhancing_assessment_and_feedback_case_study_compendium_1729083820.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Enhancing assessment and feedback: A case study compendium<\/a> (Published in October by Advance HE) features a case study from Angela Gao (USBS) titled: \u201cChanging the paradigm: rethinking assessment in the AI era\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Employability<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Between 250-300 students per year benefit from the employability-focused Business Law and Practice module taught in the School of Law, Politics and Sociology, which has been shortlisted in the <a href=\"https:\/\/staff.sussex.ac.uk\/news\/article\/66856-business-law-and-practice-module-shortlisted-in-lexisnexis-legal-awards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lexis Nexis Legal Awards University Commercial Impact Award<\/a> category.
