Here is a list of the new training opportunities available to you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops\/digital#lca\" target=\"_blank\">&#8216;Lights, Camera, Apption!&#8217;<\/a><br \/>\nFilming, editing &amp; publishing<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/em>This workshop will take participants through the process of filming, editing and publishing a video using their mobile device. The session will begin by introducing the WeVideo app (available on iOS and Android) and then hand over to the participants to create, edit and publish their own video.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff\">Visualising classroom concepts<\/span><\/li>\n<li><em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops\/interactive#vcc\" target=\"_blank\">&#8216;Visualising classroom concepts&#8217;<\/a><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/em><em><strong>Interactive tools for capturing discussion\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/em>This workshop will introduce three interactive tools to create, capture and enhance in-class discussions. Participants will learn to create online mindmaps with MindMeister, interactive discussion boards with Padlet, while Post-it Plus will show how paper discussions can be easily captured, recorded and shared with students.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff\">Visualising classroom concepts<\/span><\/li>\n<li><em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops\/mytech#digi\" target=\"_blank\">&#8216;Managing your digital footprint&#8217;<\/a><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/em><em><strong>Protect your online identity<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/em>This workshop will identify and explain ways you can take control of your digital footprint without losing the connectivity that online working allows.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff\">Visualising classroom concepts<\/span><\/li>\n<li><em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops\/digital#mod\" target=\"_blank\">&#8216;Media On-Demand&#8217;<\/a><br \/>\nUsing TV &amp; radio in teaching\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/em>This workshop is aimed at discovery and use of audio and video resources for use in teaching, including recording radio and TV programmes on Box of Broadcasts, investigating the multimedia archives of JISC Media Hub and uploading sound clips from the British Library Sound Archive into Study Direct.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff\">Visualising classroom concepts<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops\/mytech#cc\" target=\"_blank\">&#8216;Cloud Confusion: Backing up your work&#8217;<\/a><br \/>\nBacking up and saving your work<\/em><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong>This session will explore the use of cloud storage services such as Dropbox, Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive and the benefits that these services can have when backing up and storing important documents. Best practice for saving work will also be covered.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff\">Backing up your work:\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops\/mytech#ipad\" target=\"_blank\">&#8216;Getting Started with your iPad&#8217;<\/a><br \/>\nIntroduction to using the iPad<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/em>This beginner\u2019s session aims to help you realise the potential of the iPad and learn how to turn your mobile device into a smart device.
