You first start by downloading the Anchor FM app onto your phone. Then create your first question or \u2018Wave\u2019. Anyone who downloads the app can then respond to your audio question with their own 60 second response. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Anchor FM could be a great tool to use to collect a variety of responses on a topic or theme. Visit our <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/anchorfm\/\">Anchor FM page<\/a> too to listen to the Waves we created with\u00a0staff, students and professional staff during Digital Innovation Week.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/its\/services\/networkandstorage\/box\">Box<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Staff and research students at Sussex can use Box.com to store an unlimited amount of files and data. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">When your files are stored in Box you have a quick, easy and secure way to review version history and share your files internally or externally.\u00a0All you need to get started is sign in at the \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/its\/services\/networkandstorage\/box\">ITS Box webpage<\/a> with your ITS username and password. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you need more help with Box, see the handy and short <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/its\/services\/networkandstorage\/box\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">introductory video<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (3 mins) on the ITS Box webpage. You will also find a <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/its\/help\/faqbrowse?cat_id=1005\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Box FAQ<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> that will answer all your data and file storage-related questions. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/cogi.com\/\"><b>Cogi &#8211; beyond notes<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cogi is an audio recorder with \u2018Back to the Future\u2019 features. You can use Cogi to help you to remember meeting notes, revise for an exam or even record your own thoughts and &#8216;to do&#8217; lists. For example, download Cogi on to your phone, sit down at a conference, meeting or lecture and start a new \u2018session\u2019 in your Cogi app. Cogi then begins to \u2018listen\u2019 but not yet record. As soon as you are ready to record, tap your finger and Cogi will rewind and audio capture up to the last 60 seconds and continue to record from that moment. See the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/2015\/04\/08\/the-perfect-merge-a-brilliant-speaker-and-the-perfect-listener\/\">TEL post featuring Cogi in action<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/www.photosforclass.com\/\"><b>Photos for Class<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you\u2019ve ever wished for an easy way to find\u00a0attributed images, look no further than Photos for Class. Search the database for images for any occasion and download with the attribution already embedded. Don\u2019t be put off by \u2018for class\u2019 in the title. The images use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/creativecommons\/\">Flickr Creative Commons<\/a> database and there are enough appropriate images for all sectors of education, from school to university. If you are finding that your email inbox is overwhelming, try using a Slack channel with your team rather than traditional emails. Slack brings all of your communication to one place, it is easily searchable and you can access it wherever you go. Slack is a more informal place to communicate, so you can spend less time crafting salutations and more time exchanging important information on team projects with your colleagues. Wix is a free website builder with \u2018drag and drop\u2019 features and a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wix.com\/website\/templates\">host of templates<\/a> for you to choose from. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You can choose from standard websites to social forums and portfolios and CVs. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/profiles\/233483\">Laura Hadwin<\/a> (SCLS) shared how she had used Wix at the Autumn 2016 <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/ourservice\/showandtel\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Show and TEL<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Do you use any apps that you would like to recommend?
