term, blending our most popular sessions from last year with a range of new workshops tackling hot topics in teaching and learning with technology.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 40%;float: right;margin: 0 0 0 24px;background-color: #eb6bb0;padding: 1em;line-height: 1em;color: #013035\">\n<div style=\"font-size: 1.6em;line-height: 1em;margin-bottom: 0.4em\"><em>Really practical \u2026 great facilitation<\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 0.8em;line-height: 1em;text-align: right\">Feedback on \u201cIntroduction to Poll Everywhere\u201d<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Staff can get support with specific classroom technologies, such as our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#IPE\">Introduction to Poll Everywhere<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#ASTT\">Advanced SMARTboard workshop<\/a> and overview of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#MOD\">Media on Demand<\/a> available at the University.<\/p>\n<p>We have a strong focus on creative applications of technology, exploring <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#MC\">Mobile Creativity<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#CMLM\">Creating Multimedia Learning Materials<\/a> as well as the expanded world of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#ER\">Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Community also features prominently, from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#WTO\">Working Together Online<\/a> to developing a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#CCESP\">Connected Experience for Students on Placement<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#PIJITT\">Peer Instruction<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#COSSW\">Creating Opportunities for Students to Showcase their Work<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 40%;float: left;margin: 0 24px 0 0;background-color: #ffb81c;padding: 1em;line-height: 1em;color: #013035\">\n<div style=\"font-size: 1.6em;line-height: 1em;margin-bottom: 0.4em\"><em>Yesterday&#8217;s training was fantastic<\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 0.8em;line-height: 1em;text-align: right\">Feedback on<br \/>\n\u201cPeer Instruction: Just-in-time Teaching\u201d<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>We\u2019ll be re-running our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#T5DP\">online Digital Productivity course<\/a> that was such a success at the beginning of the Summer, and complementing this with sessions on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#MTT\">Managing Time and Tasks<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#BPLN\">Building a Professional Learning Network<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Teaching challenges are tackled as we revisit our highly popular session on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#TLGT\">Teaching Large Groups with Technology<\/a>, offer strategies for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#ICFF\">In-class Formative Feedback<\/a> and address issues of inclusion through sessions such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#ROIST\">Reaching out to International Students through Technology<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#CEIP\">Creating Engaging &amp; Inclusive Presentations<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 592px;clear: both;background-color: #d6d2c4;margin: 0;padding: 1em;line-height: 1em;color: #013035\">\n<div style=\"font-size: 1.6em;line-height: 1em;margin-bottom: 0.4em\">Spotlight on Feedback and Assessment<\/div>\n<div style=\"font-size: 1em;line-height: 1.5em\">\n<p>Effective feedback and assessment remains a high priority for the University, and we&#8217;ll be offering direct support for your practice through the following workshops:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: square\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops#PEM\">Portfolio e-Submission using Mahara<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--more-->All the term\u2019s sessions are now available for University of Sussex staff to book, via the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sussex.ac.uk\/tel\/workshops\">TEL workshops page<\/a>. You\u2019ll also be able to find fuller details on all the topics, along with the date and location.
