The State Papers Online allows users to search the Domestic, Foreign, Borders, Scotland, and Ireland State Papers of Britain alongside the Registers of the Privy Council and other State Papers. This resource also makes available the Calendars (chronological catalogues prepared during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries) which had previously only been available in print and whch provide abstracts or summaries of the documents.
Our access to the State Papers is for the Tudor period, and is available through the Online Resources link on the Electronic Library webpage.
