The ephemera are documents which come from the University of Sussex Library collection. They were chosen for their relevance to the broad themes of the Observing the 1980s open educational resource, based on the undergraduate module ‘1984: Thatcher’s Britain’. They cover a range of different types of publication from an issue of the Brighton Voice, a local newspaper, to a NATO report on defence.
