Microsoft have released breakout rooms allowing the meeting organiser to place the attendees into smaller groups. “Currently, the Breakout Room Preview is only supported for private meetings in Teams. Breakout Rooms are not currently supported for meetings in channels” so make sure you start the meeting from the Calendar.
