Backing up your home PC

A couple of people have recently asked how to go about backing up their PC at home, especially their Documents, pictures and music.
Some options are:
- Buy an external hard drive (from around £60). Then either remember to regulary copy your files across, or use a free tool such LazyMirror.
- Use an online Tool such as Dropbox. Dropbox provides you with online storage (2GB for free). It acts live a normal drive under ‘My Computer’ so you can copy files across to it while connected to the web (and, as a bonus, access them from any other computer you install it on).
- Use an online backup tool such as JungleDisk. JungleDisk backs up your files to ‘Amazon Web Storage’ – which is a secure and stable setup used by many websites (including Twitter). In a nutshell you pay JungleDisk a set monthly fee, and pay Amazon based on how much data you store. I’m guessing an average user would pay less than £4 a month
These are just some suggestions, and I can’t provide any help or support for them! Just some ideas
