Great New features in Microsoft Teams!

Microsoft have been busy and have delivered some great new features.

New look when you join a meeting – When you join a Teams meeting you’ll be greeted with a new look to your audio and video settings. 

Put a Pin in it – Make it easy for you and teammates to access an important post in a channel by pinning it.

Do not disturb – You can now set a duration for your status in Teams.

Microsoft Teams New Feature – Breakout Rooms

Microsoft have released breakout rooms allowing the meeting organiser to place the attendees into smaller groups. “Currently, the Breakout Room Preview is only supported for private meetings in Teams. Breakout Rooms are not currently supported for meetings in channels” so make sure you start the meeting from the Calendar. Want to jump direct to a slide during your PowerPoint presentation?

Fed up with ploughing past slides to get back to a particular slide? Did you know that when you are presenting a PowerPoint presentation you can type a slide number and press Return to jump direct to that slide or use the minus key to see all slides. Want to Zoom in on part of a slide? Use the plus and minus keys to zoom in or out.
