During the end of term exam period we ran a student-led revision session in the library. We used Facebook, Twitter, posters and also advertised it on our blog to spread the word. The session ran for 3 hours and students brought along their books, laptops and notebooks to help them revise. I found it particularly useful to really get down to some proper revision away from the many distractions in my halls. There was a relaxing and positive atmosphere during the session as students helped themselves to complimentary hot drinks and biscuits whilst chatting about work and comparing revision plans. Others chose to revise independently and the space allowed them to spread their work out which is something that is fairly hard to do when the main library is overcrowded.

We are now looking forward to the next academic year and starting to think about what other student-led events we can offer. We welcome any feedback or comments Sussex Undergraduates may have.
